What To Expect From Our Programs
Each program is designed to take a runner to the next level, whether that is from the couch to the road or from a solid race pace to a new personal best. The full set of Get Fit Live Fit programs guide beginner runners through longer distances at a gradual pace, helping them prepare for a 10K, then a half marathon and eventually a full marathon.
Our personalized programs guide participants through daily workouts and offer team training twice a week. A midweek track workout specializes in building stronger muscle fibers with dynamic drills and speed-specific workouts in an organized practice setting. On weekends, we meet for "endurance" group runs--a fun way to build mileage. A team of Pace Leaders heads up both weekly pace sessions. Trained to motivate and encourage other runners, our Pace Leaders direct pace groups ranging from sub-9-minute miles to over 14-minute miles. Throughout the session, we will share with you the basics of foot strike and running mechanics, injury prevention, running nutrition, stretching and use of a roller, heart rate monitor training and proper gear for all weather conditions.
